LP-S PLUGGING COMPOUND is a fine powder-like dry mix with hydraulic insulation and cementing properties. The LP-S plugging compound is designed for the following:
• Elimination of drilling fluid losses occurring while drilling boreholes in sedimentary rock types; • Ensuring the stability of borehole walls when drilling in man-made soils located in sedimentary rock types; • Isolation of casing strings and water-bearing stratums; • Installing waterproofing barriers and geo-ecological groundwater cut-off walls.
After its delivery to a troublesome zone, the compound interacts with water or mud solution and turns into a rubber-like mass expanding 10 to 50 times its volume within 3-5 minutes.
Polymer mineral composite material intended for dry placement as a waterproofing layer/membrane. Can be implemented both, on its own, and in combination with the typical waterproofing materials (roll-out membrane and surface applied types). Ensures a reliable protective barrier for buried structures against ingress of groundwater. Able to restore its own integrity after ground slipping or deformational shifting of buried installations. Used at the construction phase of underground buildings and structures.

Polymer mineral composite material intended for aerodynamic injection into the solid soil body when creating an impermeable barrier around the buried structures. Provides a protective barrier for installations even in the mediums of low permeability. Used to restore the waterproof properties of heterogeneous structure buried walls, including concrete blocks with brickwork or rubble stonework. It seals minor pores and cracks, thus creating an efficient barrier impermeable to water.

Polymer mineral blend intended for preparing a water-based waterproofing solution. A repair compound. Used for injecting into the solid soil body around the buried installations. It changes the infiltrative properties of soils making them impermeable to water. Resistant to the deformational strain; able to restore its own integrity after damage was inflicted to its impermeable membrane.

Water-free based polymer mineral paste. A repair compound. To be used in cases of high pressure water inflow into the buried buildings and structures. The paste is efficient even for pit-holes and cracks greater than 3 cm wide. Implemented for the waterproofing repairs by injection in the complicated hydrogeological conditions of a facility in operation. Ensures a reliable impermeable barrier for buried installations against the corrosive effect of underground waters. Able to restore its own integrity after deformational strain impacts. Service life of the waterproof layer exceeds 30+ years provided the pressurized injection techniques were abided by.

Polymer mineral blend intended for preparation of a water-based waterproofing solution. A repair compound. Used for pressurised injection into the solid soil body around the buried structures. It changes the infiltrative characteristics of soils making them impermeable to water. Resistant to the deformational strain; able to restore its own shape after damage to integrity of a membrane was inflicted. Enjoys an enhanced cohesive bond compared to the other TAMPA products.
Plugging mix
Implementing waterproofing sealants of the 'Plugging Mix' series in agriculture
A problem to be tackled: Arid lands unsuitable for agricultural use, an insufficient amount of precipitation, and high ambient temperatures resulting in poor yield of cultivated crops. These drylandsrequire great volumes of irrigation water, but they suffer heavy losses through evaporation and infiltration into the soil down to a considerable depth.
An existing common solution: Cultivating the drought-tolerant crops; regular irrigation of the land, use of capillary irrigation.
The technique and materials we offer:
1. Creating an underground impermeable barrier/membrane using the waterproofing sealant Plugging Mix SI (surface irrigation) by placing the dry mix 10 - 30 cm deep, below the fertile topsoil, (the depth depends on the typical root extension of a cultivated crop). The water, when fed onto the land plot, penetrates the soil down to a preset depth (till it reaches the protective membrane). Just a small amount of water is enough for spreading within the boundaries of the crop'sroot nutrition area.
The compound consumption rate for building such membrane ranges from 3 to 10 kg per 1 m2 of soil for a membrane 0.3 to 1 cm thick. The result shows up to a 10-fold reduction in irrigation water consumption. A subsequent application is not required.
2. Adding the Plugging Mix SI (surface irrigation) blend by mixing it with soil at the ratio of 50 to 100 kg per 1 m3 of soil. This technique ensures a uniform distribution of water throughout the processed layer, reducing the irrigation water consumption by almost 10-fold. Repeated application is not required.
3. Treatment of a land plot with the Plugging Mix Bioscreen compound to form a protective biofilm rich in organic nutrients. Application of the Plugging Mix Bioscreen helps preventing superficial moisture evaporation caused by the high ambient temperatures and the blowing erosion. The loss of water related to evaporation reduces three-fold.
The Plugging Mix Bioscreen consumption rate ranges from0.3 to 3 g of dry mix per 1 m2 of the treated land surface. The Mix is commercially available as a dry powder, and prior to application, must be diluted with water at the ratio of 0.3 to 3 g per 1 liter of water. The land requires a periodic repeated treatment after a few times of crop watering or heavy rainfalls.
A combined application of the Plugging Mix SI and Plugging Mix Bioscreen helps to increase the crop yield up to twice the volume and to considerably reduce the costs of cultivated crops irrigation in the areas of risky arable farming.
